The recent floods have affected several districts in southern Bangladesh, including Feni, Noakhali, Cumilla, Lakshmipur, Khagrachhari, Chattogram, and Cox’s Bazar. People are still underwater. It has affected around 5.2 million people, including 1.5 million children. And the number keeps getting up because of continuous heavy rain.
Rescue teams are working tirelessly, but they need more resources like boats, raincoats, and life jackets. Access to clean water, food, and essential hygiene supplies has become very hard. That’s why we are fundraising to support the rescue effort and provide necessary supplies during and after the flood. Your donations will help us deliver food packages, hygiene products, and menstrual hygiene kits to those in need. Also to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases, which are common after floods. After the flood, we want to help with people’s livelihoods, especially people who are losing their livestock due to the flood.
