What is child rights ?

Child rights refer to the fundamental entitlements and protections afforded to children under international law, encompassing their inherent rights to survival, development, protection, and participation. These rights are outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and include provisions related to education, healthcare, protection from exploitation and abuse, and the right to express their views and participate in decisions affecting them. Child rights aim to ensure that children are treated with dignity and respect, and that their best interests are prioritized in all aspects of society.
